Jason Webley, Corn Mo, The Petrojvic Blasting Company and Renée de la Prade bring Monsters of Accordion to Neumos this Wednesday, December 15th. The accordion is a versatile instrument and one that I think is way underused. It’s just lovely, and I prefer it to the overused harmonica, that’s for sure. Webley collaborated with the Dresden Dolls’ Amanda Palmer recently on the project Evelyn Evelyn and Corn Mo has frequently toured with They Might Be Giants. Renée de la Prade is a Berklee College of Music graduate (she also designed this cool calendar) and The Petrojvic Blasting Company just released their debut LP, A History of Public Relations Dilemmae. Amy Denio will be the special Seattle guest.
