Join NighTraiN, The Young Evils, Daniel G. Harmann & the Trouble Starts, Lady Krishna’s Peppermint Lounge and MC Brent Amaker in a great evening for a cause you should really care about if you like local music. Tiny Dancer of Brent Amaker and the Rodeo broke his leg over the Fourth of July weekend and had to undergo surgery. Friends have gathered to help him as he, like so many Americans, does not have health insurance. He’ll be at the event so you can wish him well. Why not stop by? – it’s only $10 and will help Tiny Dancer get back in shape for the Rodeo’s Bumbershoot appearance.

I also just got this notice from Camp Rodeo:
We here at Camp Rodeo are grateful for everyone who has already stepped up to help Tiny Dancer in his hour of need with generous donations and offers of raffle items.
In addition to an amazing night of music, there will be raffle prizes including CDs, DVDs, and Merch from the participating bands, goodies from Sprint, guest list spots to upcoming shows from local venues like The Tractor Tavern and the High Dive (and more being confirmed every day!), and last but not least, a homemade baked good from Brent Amaker who has a collection of recipes from his mid-western grandmother. Anyone who has been on the receiving end of a cake, cobbler, cookie, or some other tasty treat made by Brent is willing to throw down cold hard cash for more-can you outbid them??? We’ll find out before the night is through.
