It was a mixture of emotions at Columbia City Theater last Friday night (July 16th). The band was in high spirits by the great turnout and were thankful to their fans for all their support over the last five years. M. Bison were the first to perform and started the night off right. Their heartfelt performances always leave the audience smiling and soothed. They are absolutely a band to watch in the next year or two; unfortunately their shows are few and far between, but hopefully that’ll change as they are worthy of great praise. The Sheds came on next. With a touch of honky tonk their rockabilly music gets you moving in your seat if not up an dancing on the floor. Finally Friday Mile took the stage to wild cheers. It was bittersweet to see them so excited, just knowing we’ll never get to see them all together on stage again. It was an amazing run and the energy and joy they showed at this last performance was a great way to end it. Seattle is looking forward to seeing what Jace and the rest will be doing as they go their separate ways.
