Review & Photos: My Life With the Thrill Kill Kult @ Studio 7

Tuesday night was my first time seeing My Life With the Thrill Kill Kult. I don’t know how I have missed catching their shows. I am familiar with their music, but seeing them onstage in such a significant performance (with Lords of Acid on the Sextreme Ball Tour) was just fantastic. The audience was somewhat violent though fortunately a few really cool guys helped create a barrier for several women up front. I appreciated that. I loved watching the charismatic band perform and am convinced I could have watched them perform much, much longer. Buzz McCoy, Groovie Mann and Jacky Blacque in particular seemed to have such a great connection to each other. Special favorites of the night: “Do U Fear For Your Child?,” “Swine & Roses,” “Sex on Wheelz,” “Kooler Than Jesus” and I think what is my ultimate Thrill Kill Kult song, “The Devil Does Drugs”. What a blast – I won’t miss them next time they come to Seattle.

  1. That’s not Pepper Somerset, it’s Jacky Blacque, one of the old Bomb Gang Girls. Pepper is much younger and prettier.

  2. Fixed – this has not been my week for posting errors! I think they both look very pretty – and nice ages.
